Our Shawnee taproom is getting a winter glow-up! Expect icy décor, twinkling lights, festive cocktails, slushies, seasonal beers and all the holiday vibes that come with a little winter magic. It’s the taproom you love — just a little colder, a little cozier and completely transformed for the season.​ Bundle up because the coolest season is about to pop up.

Berry Frostbite

Gin, blackberry liqueur, cranberry juice, lime and sparkling water. It’s berry cold out, so sip accordingly.

 

Blue Blizzard Margarita

Tequila, triple sec, blue curaçao, orange liqueur and blue sports drink. Because sometimes, blizzards are best served on the rocks.

 

Jack Frosted in Paradise

Coconut rum, pineapple juice, cream of coconut and blue curaçao. One drink, and you’re living that snow-meets-shore vibe.

 

Frosted & Minted

Vodka and peppermint schnapps swirled with cranberry and half-and-half. Staying frosty never tasted so sweet.

 

Snowdrift Mojito

Rum, mint, coconut cream and lemon-lime soda. Proof that even paradise can catch a little frost.

 

Winter Solstice Smash

Bourbon, orange liqueur, fig jam, orange juice and bitters. Guaranteed to warm you up and melt the frost.

 

Frosted Glow Slushie

Orange juice, lemon-lime soda, lemon juice and simple syrup. Bright, bubbly and full of winter sunshine. Add a shot of triple sec for an extra frosty kick. ($3 upcharge)

 

Blushing Berry Breeze Slushie

Frozen berries, mint leaves, lemonade and simple syrup. Sweet, tangy and cool as fresh powder. Add a shot of limoncello to turn up the chill. ($3 upcharge)

  • General Knowledge Trivia with Special Frosted Flashbacks Category: Join us for general knowledge trivia with a special FROSTED twist! This week’s featured category is Frosted Flashbacks — a nostalgic dive into sugary cereals, Saturday morning shows, snow-day memories and all the frosty little moments that made being a kid way sweeter.

7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3

  • Christmas Classic Music Bingo for a Cause: Join us for a festive night of music bingo to benefit the Greater Kansas City Alumnae Association of ADPi! We’ll kick things off with a round of Christmas classics — the timeless holiday hits you know and love — followed by a fun mix of ’90s party playlist favorites to keep the energy going. The suggested donation per bingo card is $5 and will go directly to help the organization! Please arrive by 6:45 p.m. to get checked in.

7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4

  • Fact or Flake Mini Trivia: Join us for a frosty true-or-false game packed with 30 winter facts, snowy oddities and icy little surprises. See if you can separate the real chill from the total flake. It’s FREE to play, and we’ll have prizes for winners!

Friday, Dec. 5

  • 12 Beers of Christmas Boxes Release: We’re releasing our 12 Beers of Christmas Boxes with four of the beers on tap to kick things off. Each box is $65 and features 12 festive beers packed with holiday flavors.

  • 4-8 p.m. Blooming Lotus Spice Co. Food Truck

  • 6:30 p.m. Frosty & Festive Ornament Making Class with Mel: For just $20 per person, you’ll create up to three custom ornaments — perfect for decorating your tree, gifting to someone special or adding a little FROSTED flair to your holiday season. All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary. Just bring your creativity, and we’ll bring the winter magic! Tickets can be purchased here.

Saturday Dec. 6

  • Tinsel & Taps: Join us for a festive brewery crawl featuring our brewery, Friction Beer Co. and Transport Brewery! Stop by one of the breweries to pick up your Tinsel & Taps punch card. Buy a beer at each stop, get your punches and turn in your completed card to claim a free glass provided by Visit Shawnee (while supplies last)! Each brewery will be hosting its own holiday fun — pop-up shops, food trucks, festive specials and more — all designed to help you celebrate the season while supporting local breweries and local makers. It’s the perfect way to sample your way through Shawnee, shop small and enjoy a little holiday cheer with friends!

  • 1-4 p.m. Frosted Finds Holiday Pop-Up Shops: Get ready to shop, sip and get Frosted!While you’re in our taproom, shop these vendors:

 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7

  • Frosted Holiday Critters Cupcake Decorating Class: Bring some holiday magic to life with a hands-on, family-friendly decorating class in partnership with Suzy Belle’s Sweets! This class features easy designs perfect for young bakers and anyone wanting to embrace their inner child. Together, we’ll bring three of Santa’s sweetest holiday helpers to life.​ Cost is $25 per person. Space is limited, so grab your spot and get ready to create some delicious little masterpieces! Purchase tickets here. Each participant receives:

    • Six undecorated cupcakes

    • All decorating materials

    • Step-by-step instruction from Alyssa with Suzy Belle’s Sweets​

  • Trivia with Special Stay Frosty Category: Join us for general knowledge trivia with a special FROSTED twist. This week’s featured category is Stay Frosty — a cool collection of icy idioms, frosty slang and chill expressions that people use to sound cool … literally and figuratively.

6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11

  • DIY Snow Jars: Create your own little piece of winter magic at our DIY Snow Jars Class with Recycled Souls! You’ll learn how to transform a simple jar into a glowing snowy lantern. These frosted jars make the perfect holiday décor piece or a sweet handmade gift for someone special. All supplies are included, and no crafting experience is needed. Just come ready to relax and get creative. Reserve your spot here.

5-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12

  • Frost Yourself Holiday Pop-Up Shops: Treat yourself to a little sparkle, shimmer and seasonal glam at our Frost Yourself Holiday Pop-Up Shops! Join for an evening of fun, festive shopping with two amazing vendors! Drink something seasonal, shop small and add a little sparkle to your night. Come get glam and frost yourself!

    • Kleo Kolor - Anna Kleopper: Press-on gel nails, LED gel strips and nail care items to give your holiday look the perfect frosted finish!

    • Endlessly Linked Permanent Jewelry: Delicate, custom-fit chains and stylish everyday pieces linked on the spot for the perfect holiday treat or gift!

  • A Frosted Holiday Special Trivia: Holiday films and TV specials get the Frosted treatment with a trivia night full of iconic scenes, nostalgic moments and seasonal fun! Expect everything from Home Alone and Elf to The Grinch and classic TV episodes that define the season. It’s FREE to play, and we’ll have prizes for the Top 3 teams! Break out those ugly sweaters that should’ve stayed in the attic — it’s time to get Frosted.

  • Let It Snow Music Bingo for a Cause: We’re teaming up to support Shawnee Community Services, and your music bingo cards help make a difference this holiday season. Expect holiday favorites, sing-along moments and plenty of Frosted cheer. Come play, donate and help us spread a little warmth during the chilliest time of year. The suggested donation per bingo card is $5 or a non-perishable food item. Most-needed items:

    • Pancake syrup

    • Pasta sauce

    • Canned meats

 

4 p.m. Sunday, Dec 21

  • Winter Wonderland Bingo: Bundle up for a round of winter-themed bingo featuring snowflakes, scarves, sleds, mittens and all the cold-weather icons. Come play, snag a drink and enjoy a little winter wonderland in the taproom. Free to play!

  • Snowday Soundtrack Mini Trivia: Join us for a chill 30-question mini trivia packed with icy anthems, snowy throwbacks and songs cool enough to freeze your playlist solid. Bundle up, turn up the volume and let the frosty beats begin. It’s FREE to play, and we’ll have prizes for winners!
