Atchison Oktoberfest returns Oct. 4

Get ready for our second annual Oktoberfest celebration in Atchison on Saturday, Oct. 4! Join us noon to 6 p.m. for German beers, German food, music, games and kids activities!

There will be 10 Servaes and guest German and fall beers on tap in the beer garden! The Country Girl Food Shack will be serving brats, pretzels, burgers and more all day! You'll be able to listen to music by Sunnie Valentine, build your own pretzel necklace and take part in fun activities for prizes throughout the day! The Live Well Atchison County Block Party Trailer will be on site with games!  And, don't forget to wear your best Bavarian outfits!

Tickets are $15 and include a Servaes stein to take home, participation in games and music, access to exclusive beers and more!  Free for those under 21 years old. Tickets are on sale NOW in the taproom and at brewedbyagirl.com. During the event, you'll be able to purchase tokens to redeem for half and full pours of the many beers on tap! Tokens are one for $3 or two for $5. Redeem one token for a half pour and two tokens for a full pour. You'll also have access to purchase beer, wine, soda and cocktails in the taproom, but tokens are only redeemable for the drinks on tap in the beer garden.

• 1:30 p.m. Hammer Striking Game

• 2 p.m. Music by Sunnie Valentine

• 3 p.m. Keg Rolling Race

• 3:30 p.m. Music by Sunnie Valentine

• 4:30 p.m. Best Bavarian Outfit Judging

• 5 p.m. Stein Holding Competition ($10 donation benefitting Atchison Rotary Club to participate)
