It's brew time!

Updated: Mar 22, 2019

Let the record show that we brewed our first batch of beer on March 12, 2019. I thought a lot about what beer would be my first beer to brew and eventually settled on a juicy pale. It was low-risk — something I could easily learn from, and something that I would enjoy brewing.

Since that day, we've filled all eight of our fermenters. Eight batches of beer in nine days. Eight batches of beer.

In nine days.

Not everything has gone smoothly. We've learned a lot of lessons. We've improved every time, and we're excited to start tasting and adding adjuncts to the beers we've brewed. What have we been brewing? I would say that the beers we've been working on are highly diverse and very reflective of the types of beers we plan to offer on a weekly basis.

We've got our juicy pale ale, a cream ale that we've added Tutti-Fruitti Jelly Beans to, a milkshake NEIPA, a regular NEIPA, a milk stout and a sour - just to name a few.

We'll be tasting, dry hopping and adding adjuncts to most of these beers in the coming weeks. We'll also be finalizing our opening week beer list very soon. We should be announcing an opening date sometime next week!

Cheers!
