What will the Servaes Brewing Co. space be like? SBC will be a 2,700-square-foot brewery and taproom located in downtown Old Shawnee, Kansas. The brewery space takes up the majority of the square footage, leaving an intimate taproom that can hold around 50 people.
Our goal with the taproom was to keep it small and simple and to make it an approachable place for families. Aaron has already started a list of board games he wants to have on hand. We'll also be serving some of his sodas.
We plan to have the taproom and brewery open to the public in spring 2019. We have filed for brewing permits and have begun renovations on our building. Our brewing system is on order and should be delivered in early 2019. We aim to have our grand opening in early spring 2019.
